Message From Honorary Secretary, IADVL UP State Branch

It is indeed a moment of great pride and joy to see the Indian Journal of Innovative Dermatology (IJID), the official journal of IADVL UP State Branch, being unveiled with its inaugural issue during CUTICON UP & UK at Ayodhya on November 8-9, 2025.

The vision of starting this journal emerged from a collective aspiration-to create a credible academic platform that not only documents original research, clinical excellence, and innovative practices in dermatology, but also nurtures scientific curiosity among our younger colleagues. The journey from vision to reality has been made possible through the constant encouragement and wholehearted support of the entire executive committee ofiADVL UP who stood behind this initiative with conviction.

Special appreciation goes to the editorial board, whose perseverance, dedication, and clarity of purpose ensured that this dream took concrete shape. Equally, the painstaking contributions of the reviewing team, who worked diligently to maintain academic rigor and ensure the quality of articles, deserve to be commended. Their combined efforts have resulted in a journal that reflects both scientific integrity and innovative spirit.

I am confident that IJID will grow into a journal of academic distinction, amplifying the voice of Indian dermatology on national and international platforms. It will surely inspire generations of dermatologists to contribute their best to the progress of our specialty.
