Namaste IADVL

Dear IADVLites,

It gives me immense pleasure to learn that the IADVL UP State Branch is unveiling the inaugural issue ofits official publication, the Indian Journal of Innovative Dermatology (IJID), during CUTICON UP&UK at Ayodhya on November 8-9, 2025. The launch of a dedicated journal is a proud milestone for any state branch, reflecting the associations strong academic spirit and highlighting the scientific rigor and enthusiasm of its members.

The IADVL UP is among the largest state branches of IADVL, with over 1,000 members. Over the years, it has nurtured and produced several distinguished academicians who have served as torchbearers of dermatology both in India and abroad. The publication of this journal will undoubtedly add another feather to the cap of the IADVL UP State Branch.

I am confident that IJID will serve as a valuable resource for dermatologists, keeping them abreast of the latest developments and innovations in the field. It will also contribute to enhanced patient care while fostering academic growth among postgraduate students as well as senior practitioners.

I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the office bearers of IADVL UP for their vision and commitment in bringing this initiative to life. I also commend the editorial team for their dedication, perseverance, and efforts in shaping this journal.

I earnestly wish that IJID will soon establish itself as a premier voice for scientific research and innovation within IADVL and the wider Indian dermatology community.

LONG LIVE IADVL

Warm regards,

Dr. Bhumesh Kumar Katakam
